I always wanted to a Christmas song. I once did 1 with a partner of mine radney about 15 years ago. as a matter of fact the phrase of the final verse is a direct quote of the title of that song. I always tend to think of doing the song when it's too late into the season. this year I kind of got into the christmas spirit early while trying to make sure my son was getting into it.

It's totally worked, and he is loving it, which makes me loves the season even more. that's what this song is about. How as a parent christmas is so enjoyable (to those who celebrate) . I wanted something the parents, in particular the fathers could relate too.

i get to act out my inner child with my child, hit the decor section and go wild, christmas is for the kids but the parents can dig, ya dig, when it comes to yard decorations gotta go big, deckin the halls, Santa pictures at the mall, decorations up til the new years ball falls, with my kids just loving it all, reminiscing over every memory we all can recall, i love this time of the year even more with them here, gives me that good cheer, wife and i are blessed, and the feeling is the best, hand on my chest,this is something first hand that i can attest,

christmas themed treats that we eat while we watch Christmas specials til we sleep, Christmas eve my whole family meets, and that tradition we will always keep, tradition plants roots deep into our holiday, i gotta say, its all play, when we hit our annual spots, and its all business when the wife and i go to shop, not a single item missed, the kids are going to love this, even if its not something from their list,
